Q How does SetTrackLoadSettings work in QuickTime for Windows 2.0 A QuickTime 2.0 introduced the really neat feature of setting preload flags into the movie itself so that selections of tracks, or tracks could be preloaded without the need to worry if LoadTrackInfoRAM is implemented in the playback application or not. However, something that was not clearly stated is what QuickTime for Windows thinks about these pre-load flags. QuickTime for Windows 2.0.1 honors these flags for text and MIDI tracks, not sound or video. This will change in the future. [May 01 1995] |
